Techvantage Analytics is a fast-growing AI services and Product Engineering company specialized in Analytics, Machine learning and Gen AI-based solutions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Analyst, preferably with experience in product engineering companies or similar industries, to join our team at our office in Trivandrum, Kerala. As a Business Analyst at Techvantage Analytics, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and IT capabilities. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand their requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and ensure the successful delivery of IT projects. 

What we are looking from an ideal candidate?

Requirement Gathering and Analysis: 

• Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, workflows, and user needs. 
• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. 
• Identify gaps and opportunities for process improvements and automation. 
• Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive technical specifications and user stories. 

Collaboration with our Engineering team: 

• Work closely with our engineering team (both internal and external) to ensure that solutions align with business objectives and technical feasibility. 
• Participate in Agile or Scrum ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives. 
• Provide guidance and support to developers throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC). 

Documentation and Communication: 

• Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications, system design documents, and process flows. 
• Communicate complex technical concepts and project details effectively to stakeholders at all levels. 
• Prepare and deliver presentations to management and stakeholders to present findings, recommendations, and project updates. 

Data Analysis and Insights: 

• Perform data analysis to derive actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making. 
• Conduct impact analysis and assess potential risks associated with proposed solutions. 
• Monitor project progress, identify issues, and proactively propose solutions to mitigate risks. 

Continuous Improvement and Innovation: 

• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in AI and business analysis. 
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the organization through innovative solutions and process enhancements. 

 

Preferred Skills:

What skills do you need?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. 
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst with 3-5 years of experience, preferably working with product engineering companies or in similar industries.  
• For this role, we are seeking only candidates with a maximum of 6 years of experience or below as a Business Analyst. 
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, such as Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall. 
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and propose effective solutions. 
• Proficiency in business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements gathering, process modeling, and data analysis. 
• Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration tools. 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
• Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) and Agile methodologies is desirable.
